here is a performance where the two artists run into the museum and start to jump on Tracy Emin’s piece My Bed which i find absolutely hilarious, before they were apprehended by the police they also had time to start a pillow fight, yaaaa! the performance is called Two Naked Men Jump Into Tracey’s Bed. The artists were arrested but no charges were filed. they said they were improving the piece and though Emin’s work was strong it did not go far enough. It is part of an art intervention ( an interaction with a previously existing artwork, audience or venue/space) Though i love Tracy Emin’s work i think that this piece took the critique of what was to go on in the gallery space just a little further.
